Meditate
Many times in life we have situations that lead us to a state of anxiety. Our brain sends a signal of not being ready, something inside us makes us afraid. The palms of the hands begin to be sweaty, the heartbeat is faster. All this means that we cannot concentrate on the now, on what is the present, it is only fear of facing judgments, and which one? Ours, the one you would do to others and not the one others will do to you.
It is a great fight from being perfect to no one knows what and that ignorance generates a terrible fear that comes to block any cognitive capacity.
Meditating helps you to reach your true identity, and it is not through the body, but through that state of consciousness that resides within you. Try to love yourself, this is another way to overcome that fear, love yourself and you will stop being afraid of you.
Love of oneself is essential because when we learn to love ourselves, one stops suffering, and where there is no suffering, there is no judgment and therefore the fraud disappears.
To understand that lack of confidence is the cause of uncertainty and fear is to let the cause disappear, that which prevents the progress of the Being and therefore of the individual. See fear as a tool to get rid of it.
Identify fear, an example of them can be: Public speaking, taking an exam, fear of rejection, failure, death,…. Let’s learn to overcome them from the root.
HOW TO OVERCOME FEAR
1.- Get rid of past luggage.
To get rid of past fear, to stop prioritizing in the memory of a situation that caused us fear, is to know ourselves. Let your past be past. Most of the time, incidents from the past become a nuisance and impediment to the present.
Observe children, they are generally not afraid of anything and this is because they have no impressions. But, as we grow, we gather a pool of good and bad experiences, which become our impressions. Some of these impressions become fear. Meditation removes these impressions and sets you free from within.
2.- Facing anxiety.
When we feel anxious, the mind gets stuck in a whirlwind of uncontrolled thoughts. Thoughts like “I can’t” become a constant, in a loop that produces a state of collapse in mind and body, I speak of that permanent negative state. Anger, desire, jealousy, etc., become your mantra, flow, and become aware of that bombardment born of you, of that spiral of thought that can only produce you, fear.
Meditation calms and gives that inner strength that you believed lost, and it will be a great tool to face any situation. Believe in yourself without thinking about what will happen, even if that “whatever” is unknown to you.
Meditation helps to release anxiety about the unknown future and is able to bring your mind to the present moment.
There is a secret about the present moment:
“All actions happen only in the present moment.” An action is only possible in the present moment since one cannot act in the future. With a relaxed mind, you can take the required action, overcome fear.
One of the causes of anxiety is also due to a lack of prana, (energy). Meditation increases prana in the body, resulting in an anxiety-free mind.
3.- Stop saying Me, don’t be a possessor of you
We deal with people day after day, we tend to become obsessed with impressing everyone we meet, too much energy is spent searching for that something that you care for us so as not to be judged. This happens because our ego intervenes.
Be who you are naturally, it is an antidote to the ego. Regular meditation practice brings you back to your nature of being. Fear is nothing but reverse love. Usually, we tend to be afraid of something you don’t like or something you don’t know. And, there is something that can turn that fear back to love. You and how? Only through meditation, 20 minutes has the potential to dissolve the seeds of fear.
