Sleeping with the cellphone on the night table? No No No.

Kim M.

The invisible contamination of mobiles and Wi-Fi networks can leave you awake. Numerous studies relate a prolonged exposure to various radiations with the exhaustion of the self-regulatory systems of living beings.

In the 1990s television series Doctor in Alaska, a man was found confined in a plastic bubble due to a strange disease that caused him to reject almost anything manufactured during the 20th century. If this ultra-sensitive character were to enter a normal house today, in a store or in a public building, he would surely give fainting.

Here we are going to discuss some healthy tips and self-improvement ideas for the people who are very sensitive to radiation overexposure are beginning to appear in an environment saturated by among other things, Wifi routers and mobile telephony;

As important as food or exercise is where we live.

It is important to remember that radiation is not perceived by the senses. They cannot be touched, they cannot be seen, they do not smell and they do not feel, so there is no need to wait for any external manifestation.

Natural radiation comes from geophysical activity in the earth’s crust (a course of groundwater, for example), while artificial radiation can come from antennas and mobile telephony devices, wireless Wifi devices, transformers of household appliances or urban lighting, among other places.

Numerous studies relate a prolonged exposure to various radiations with the exhaustion of the self-regulatory systems of living beings. Among the most common symptoms, in the first phase is difficulty falling asleep or headaches.

When the World Health Organization (WHO) recognized last year that mobile phones can cause cancer, it further propagated uncertainty about the dangers of electromagnetic fields (EMF). Then the WHO found that in some trials there was an increase in gliomas (a very rare type of brain tumor) that can be attributed to the use of these devices and that more research is needed.

There is a lot of misinformation about it.

And without information on how it can affect our lives, how far can we expose ourselves? Wifi is unstoppable, and it applies to everything that concerns our life. Possibly it will soon reach other devices. The question is, what level of radiation are we exposing ourselves to? We are facing something very new. We still have to learn to manage risks.

If it is about setting limits, you have to start with the bedroom, space where we spend the most time. The most basic precaution is to unplug the router and turn off the phone that many people have the habit of leaving on the nightstand.

Other less well-known but equally important recommendations are to avoid placing an appliance on the adjoining wall since, even when it is turned off, it emits radiation that penetrates the wall. It is also not convenient to charge the mobile near the bed or use a radio alarm clock.

Among people with problems such as insomnia or chronic fatigue who,

after doing all kinds of medical tests, turn to this company as a last resort. This is the case of some people, according to a group, they had so many problems sleeping, that he decided to spend the nights in a hotel. After going to the house, the technicians discovered that the problem was in the metal structures of the building itself.

The use of metal structures has increased so much in recent years that sometimes we cannot find the north in houses.

But normally it is not necessary to go that far. Although, as we have previously said, there is a great deal of misinformation on this subject, the following geoenvironmental health decalogue could help to resolve sleep or fatigue problems if no other apparent causes have been found to cause them, it will help you in visual journaling:

1. High permanence.

Avoid locating your place of rest or work in areas with geophysical alterations that alter natural magnetic fields on the surface and cause instability and intense terrestrial radiation. The places where you spend more hours a day should be free from natural radiation.

2. Rest.

If you have experienced a case of insomnia or headache without knowing the cause, you can try not to place electrical devices such as radio alarm clocks, halogen lamps with transformers, or cordless telephones on the nightstand.
In addition, in those cases, it is recommended not to put the mobile to charge next to your bed.

3. Mobile.

When talking on the mobile, do it with your hands-free; If you avoid placing the device next to the brain, you will be protecting yourself from its radiation. Connect Bluetooth or wifi only when you need it. Make sure that children do not use mobile phones.

4. Home appliances.

The washing machine, microwave, oven, boiler, induction cooker, or ceramic hob should not be on the wall next to the head of your bed. Even when they are off, they emit radiation that penetrates the wall.

5. Electrical installation.

Check that the wiring does not emit more radiation than is strictly necessary and that the earth connections work well.

6. Wireless technologies.

Wireless technologies, such as DECT cordless phones or Wi-Fi routers, saturate our environment with radiation. Preferably choose wired technologies and, if wireless technology is essential for you, always place radiation sources away from places of high permanence.

7. Radon gas.

When decorating your home, avoid using granites, some ceramics, and certain types of stoneware, which can hold a source of radon gas. If the property has these materials, make sure there is good ventilation.

8. Antennas and cables.

Before acquiring a new home or office, make sure there are no telecommunications or mobile phone antennas, high-voltage lines, power lines, or urban transformers nearby.

9. Static electricity.

Avoid the excessive use of synthetic materials: carpets, fabrics, kitchen countertops, furniture, etc. Place humidifiers and preferably use natural materials.

10. Smart buildings.

Enclosed spaces with impractical windows, technical floors or ceilings, and air conditioners are breeding grounds for bacteria and fungi due to increased positive air ionization. Good ventilation is required and ionizers must be used to improve the quality of the environment.
