Yoga Exercises For Back Pain – Can You Do Them at Home?

Kim M.

One exercise that you can do is a tree pose.

Sometimes you will need to remind yourself to relax. Do you know that yoga exercises for back pain can help you? I don’t think so. When I went to the doctor, he diagnosed my problem as osteoporosis and advised me to go on with radiation therapy. I cried when I told him that I wasn’t suffering from osteoporosis because it was so obvious, but deep in my heart, I was crying because I wanted to get back to my yoga exercises for back pain. At that time I didn’t have much money to pay for yoga classes, so it was really a matter of survival.

There was no way that I could go to class so I had to find other ways. I watched a lot of videos on YouTube and read lots of books on the subject, but I still wasn’t getting any better. My back pain was just as bad as it was before, if not worse. When I started searching for yoga exercises for back pain on YouTube, I started to see lots of people saying that you shouldn’t stretch if you have back pain.

I really feel like stretching is important if you want to prevent back injury. However, there are certain exercises that can strengthen your back muscles, and maybe the solution to your pain. So, when you see someone telling you to stretch, don’t believe what they’re telling you. Yoga for back pain is very important, and some of the exercises you should be doing are stretching exercises. One exercise that you need to do when you’re doing yoga for back pain is the fish pose.

The fish pose is very helpful in strengthening the back. What you want to do is lie flat on your back on an exercise mat, and then cross your legs. Then you want to pull your feet up under your chest. Now you’re going to lift your arms over your head, and this will tighten your back.

You also want to do some arm and leg exercises. One exercise that you can do is a tree pose. Another is the boat pose. These two poses will help to strengthen your back, and your abdominals. When you watch the yoga DVD that shows these exercises being done, you’ll be able to see how it is done.

Yoga Exercises For Back Pain – Can You Do Them at Home?

Yoga for back pain doesn’t have to mean boring, tedious work. There are much great yoga DVDs that will show you and explain the various yoga exercises for the back. So take a look at yoga and see if it’s right for you.
